Old Questions on Karma, News from the Debates at Patna 246
Daizui Macphillamy, Rev. Master
Some folks have asked me to say a little something on karma. It happens to be one of my specialties and I can run on for hours. I will try not to do that. I thought you might find it interesting if I talked on some of the debates on the topic of karma that occurred at the Council of Patna in the year 246 B.C.
What I have found in reading over some of this material is that it is amazing how the things that people are talking about, wondering about, worrying about—the topics of karma some 2250 years ago or so—are very familiar and very much relevant to us today. Not all of them are, but some of them are.
